The Cloth#21 physical and online exhibitions featured 50+ exceptional textile design makers from Scotland and beyond. From weavers to digital printers, the range of hand crafted products on display for sale was incredible from clothing to homeware. The event saw hundreds of people attend and many purchases being made. It was a great boost to the creative community and we are proud to have supported this event.
We provided a tailored promotional package which included 6 weeks of digital promotions in the run up to the events and digital coverage on the days of the event.
Focusing primarily on social media, the content in the lead up to the events was created to generate awareness of the event and increase footfall to Dovecot Studios, where the event was located. I also worked to build connections virtually between all the makers and designers to create a great buzz for the events and encourage future partnerships and collaborations.

Using mainly Instagram and also Facebook and Twitter the social media strategy was consistent, engaging and built from research that I completed on each of the exhibitors. Using a variety of Instagram tools including IGTV, Live Stories, Highlights, Re-Share and general posting the Instagram account followers increased by 24.1% and generated over 103K impressions.
The Facebook page reached almost 50K people and generated a number of shares and engagements, resulting in 1,323 new page followers.

Over a couple of days at the event i was there to collect live social media content, create IGTV videos and additional clips which will be used to create a short promotional video for future events.
